Religious War

Something I wish would be tattooed on people's minds for all time, is WHY the separation between secular science and religion.
There are two sets of questions, one set can be asked and answered by secular sciences, the other can not. The Sciences can not prove NOR DISPROVE the existence of the gods, afterlife, daemons, demons, pixies, fey, leprechauns, nor even technically, Mt. Olympus, one the homes of the gods, as different than the mountain in Greece.
You can be a witch, and scientifically knowledgeable, at the same time! So long as your religious beliefs are amendable to accept new scientific discovery, and your scientific knowledge is regarded as mandatory and factual, you will have no problem.
THEOLOGY - concerns the descriptions of the gods; male/female/animal looking, totem, favorite incense, specialist field/s...
RELIGION - concerns not only theology, but afterlife, daemons, auras, spells, meditation, Mt. Olympus, and a happily-large number of festivals/holidays throughout the year, with songs and music religiously outlined...
SCIENCE - all the other stuff :-)
HOW does secular science get in the way of anything about the gods? Is Darwinian Evolution against Nature, or the fact no planet is flat, seemingly "heretical"?
No of course not! In reality the religion is wrong. Scientific evidence is something witches can accept without fear of the gods wrath.
Only the Abrahamic gods, and their members regard:
- critical thinking
- adaptation
- innovation
- progress
- logic
- secular humanist ethics & philosophy
- Gaia theory
- learning from mistakes,
- cleaning up the mess they made, and
- apologizing for the mess, with a guarantee they will never do it again, ever.
... regard such humane, ethical, and incredibly rational modalities, as "heretical".
The pedo-mafia is doing the same Machiavellian half-lies now, just better at covering it up. The SAME crazies who ordered libraries burned, are the SAME group who STILL believe women can't be clergy, and STILL believe the horrid method of "pray the gay away" as sadistically valid! The SAME group who has no problem with environmental destruction, committing genocide against the trees, ecocide against Earth Mother. They are a desert religion of exiled slaves, suffering is all they have ever known.
Did ancient Greeks, Romans, Celts, Hindus, Shinto, Native Americans, Native Africans, or Native Australians ever burn books? Sadly possible, but was it historically accurate Pagan religious reasons that made them do it? Do you have evidence to this; I will happily retract something IF you can show evidence I am wrong; I do not want to deceive anyone with my writings! :-)

Midsummer Again
The Midsummer Sabbat is your time of Death and Rebirth, when physical Dayside energy is at peak. You are, at that time living during the low tide of Good Dark energy; increase of energy you thoughtforms are sympathetic to, is beginning to strengthen again. The concentrated energy has let go of the last of the short-term neccessary, coelesing around the core of what is important to achieve its next phase. You may understand it as "take and hold, perpetually". The gods cannot be denyed; the cosmic dance continues regardless of mortal-born fads of popularity. Come back to center, let go what no longer helps you aid the gods in their Will Made Manifest. Prepare for potential twists, turns, hills, and valleys; let go of antagonistic apathetics holding you down; fearful of letting their own Dayside weaken. Do not let their impiety let you procrastinate.
Efforts to achieve Dayside goals are useless of you do not strenthen your hold so you never lose them. Make it yours or admit failure; finish it! If it is let go, find out why so much as expended. There is fear of success that need not be if you are doing as the gods say to do and how to do it. The more you ask the gods, the easier it becomes.
Fear of happiness, removal of stress, and end of apathy; a letting go of the common. Their burdens are not yours to carry, do not pick them up. Exorcise your inner enabler from parasites. Call to Tisiphone to bind you and make you aware of your violations of Divine Law and Natural Law; of Theology and Ecology.

-Wow! Things change when we think of making advances "perpetual" Vs. merely long term.
-Quite the connection there; that the impious cause us to procrastinate. Their excuses slowing the work to eventual peace. Their antagonizing defends their own depression, oppression, suppression, repression. If they will not be happy, no one is allowed to be...
-Victicrats parasitically creating other victocrats instead of doing more then merely talking about it. Metaphorically like someone homeless offering financial advice; then pulling the "guilt card" when we refuse to use the advice. If they knew what to do, they would not be where they are... they would not be pulling us down to their degraded shell of a "life", but throwing down a rope from the good life.
-Common is not normal. Truly a lesson there!
-The Call is quite the incentive to dance with cowans, so that regardless of circumstance, we achieve without denying them their own goals. The ends do not justify the means. It is wrong to think we are "achieving" if in reality we are merely holding others down; or aiding their downfall.
-We do not spite cowans; but despite them. Regardless of them and us, it must be.
-Tisiphone reference; not according to the common ones I have found so far. Who in the past figured it out are apparently the ones who know who they are talking about...
-Lessons crystalizing; sleep solidified... what am I becoming?...

Good-Dark Diaspora: How the Greeks yet again have a solution to our problem
An interesting observation:
"We are not identified by common territory or common history, but by our beliefs and our actions." - ?
Found on the internet describing the Greeks who, regardless of where they are, and regardless of how long it has been since they last returned to Greece, they are still Greek in all that they do. Even if it is maddening to the culture they find themselves in, even if discriminated against, they can not, will not, change who they are to fit in.
I realize this also applies to we Good-Dark Soul Types. We are not about cultural genocide, there are Good Dark Gods and Goddesses in every culture. We are not about linguistic genocide; hymn poetry in any language is more about the skill of the writer. As this is about soul-types, not membership in the form of bumper-sticker fanatics, or laughably some stupid ankh and fangs; we can not possibly discriminate based on some infantile thing as "skin color" (mere melanin levels; it is the stuff that is the "tan" in "sun tan"), the size of your anatomical dangle-bits (we have more important stuff to do then haul out the "megameter" ruler), the really fraking odd abrahamic obsession with foreskin does not apply with us either, nor does bank account size, how tall you are, political party (though environmentalist makes rational sense for a Gaia-hugging religion), nor where you were born, who your parents are, which sports team you support, which school you graduated from, nor what grades you got.
In short, A Nav'i, Klingon, Cylon, and Human who are all midget, lesbian, African-Asian descendant Aleut, who work as rodeo-clowns and desires to one day be President of the United States of Earth (The UN) or an Astronaut, can all possibly have, Good-Dark Souls. How a Cylon can by descendant of anyone/anything other then a factory, or that a Nav'i is normally 9 ft. tall and in "midget" form is "only" 6 ft. tall is not the point. All is non sequitor to the fact those 4 people, by their own admission, have Good-Dark souls, worship the Good-Dark Gods, and try to live according to what we needed to learn before reincarnating again.
So no matter how long it is until finding another Good-Dark soul, no matter if one is perpetual solitary or finds a Hearth group tonight that lasts decades. No matter what, we are out there; Children of the Gods, Citizens of the Universe, no matter where we are, we are home. With some statuary, burning incense and occasional time with your Book of Shadows to meditate, even an 18-wheeler truck can be a home for a while. Just wait for the sun to go down; the feeling of peace will return.
